This date in The Replacements history... Seems like SPIN MAGAZINE likes The Replacements a lot, mentioning them numerous times and listing one of their albums as #13 of their 100 Greatest Albums 1985-2005.

OK, so back when these guys were just bursting on the growing Punk Rock scene, I was not sure what to make of them, but they were intense. This show included The Replacements, Husker Du and a third band. Merlyns was slam packed with punks moshing and going wild to a big new punk rock sound. Looking back, these were fuckin' good times!
